Florida Looks Pretty Inviting as Areas in the US Get Their First Snows of the Season!

My friend Lucy Bakeman in Wyoming has reported to me via FaceBook that they have already had their first snowstorm of the season. And it is only October 8th!!! My friend and old college classmate Rick Wing in Colorado confirmed her report. As evidence Lucy sent me these photos.

I don't want to brag, but here in Florida it was a mild 80 degrees here until just a little while ago when we got some rain showers. But here our precipitation does not pile up. It just soaks into the ground. Snow shovels have no place here.

So if you are already dreading the thought of the snowing and blowing of this year's winter season, why not give Florida a chance.

Homes are at bargain prices and so are interest rates on mortgages, if you wish to finance your purchase. Under 4% this week (10/8/2011). But now is the time to start making plans. Once the snowbirds get here, things really "heat" up. We have one-story and multi-story condo, townhomes, mobile homes in great subdivisions, villas, and single-family homes. We also have several 55+ registered subdivisions in Zephyrhills as well. Something for everyone!
