East Pasco Habitat for Humanity Accepting Donations in Dade City, Florida

Lots of times home buyers or homeowners wonder what to do with used furniture and leftover building supplies, etc. You may not be aware that in Dade City we have a Habitat for Humanity ReStore where they accept donations of these items and the profits from the sales go to help Habitat construct homes for deserving families. Some of the items they accept are:

  • Doors
  • Unbroken windows
  • Roofing materials
  • Bricks
  • Lumber
  • Tiles
  • New carpet pieces
  • Lighting fixtures
  • Ceiling fans
  • Faucets
  • Kitchen appliances
  • Countertops
  • Most pieces of furniture
  • Hand tools
  • Garden tools
  • And much more

Of course, the ReStore is not a place to drop off junk. Items should be unbroken and in working condition. A washing machine that does not work is of no use to you or to them. But if you are upgrading and your old machine still has some life in it, then the ReStore would like to have it.

They would also be happy to have you donate your time. You can find out more about doing this by calling them at: 352-523-2020. Or you can visit them at: 14940 Citrus Country Drive, Dade City, Florida in the Dade City Business Center, just to the north of Dade City on US 301 (the old citrus processing plant that has been converted to a business center).

You can also visit them if you are looking to purchase items at much lower prices.

For more information on what you can donate and buy at the ReStore, and to see a more extensive list of the items they will accept as donations, you can download the following Adobe PDF document that I scanned into the computer for your convenience.
